Diane Stafrace is a dynamic multi-lingual, global marketing and public relations professional, holding a bachelor’s degree in communications and secondary area education in European Studies from The University of Malta. Diane was born and raised in Malta.
Her expertise encompasses different aspects of strategic communications. Over the years, she earned an enviable reputation of successfully projecting every product assigned to her, whether it was in the Arts, media or the fashion industry.
Raised in an artistic family, Diane’s passion for art led her to achieve an exciting career in the industry and an in-depth knowledge of the international contemporary art scene. Earning her experience working for renowned galleries in London and New York City and mentored by some of the most elite art dealers and advisors in the industry.
Diane manages several private collections based in various locations around the world and works with the top galleries, dealers and auction houses to promote their artists with her network of clients and contacts, as well as setting up events and pop up shows on a global state.
Fusing artists with brands and handling all aspects of business development and project execution, Diane is also as an artist agent. Managing both emerging and established artists, helping their markets grow, introducing them to new projects and galleries especially in territories where they do not yet have representation.
Diane is a regular attendee of international art fairs.
Popup art shows for Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones in NYC, London, Monaco, Cannes Film Festival and Atlantic City. Exceeded sales targets, set up collabs with brands, charity events and art placement in major key locations.
Signing under contract western pop artist Billy Schenck with Washington Green fine Art Group UK who published and sold two series of limited-edition prints, original paintings, books and hosted a UK show opening tour for the artist at their multiple galleries across the UK and still represents the artist to this date.
Represents and manages Canadian mosaic artist Jason Dussault, earning him an impressive list of accomplishments and collaborations which include: a commission by FC Barcelona to create a mosaic artwork of their coat of arms, where it was presented at the Rainbow Room in NYC and hand signed by all the soccer players, which was then put up for a charity auction.
A sold-out solo art exhibit in NYC, hosted by the late Glenn O’Brian editor of Interview Magazine and Warhol factory member; one-month Artist-in-Residency at Ruschmeyer’s Hotel in Montauk, Long Island, NY, where Jason created a series of vintage mosaic surfboards in an interactive outdoor setting; Invitation to host an artist workshop and talk at the Soho House members club NYC.
